Step 8. WordPress Publishing

The WordPress module helps reuse a generated video as an SEO article. FOXI Studio takes the script, metadata, thumbnail, images, and video link, then prepares a post for your website: title, structure, headings, categories, tags, SEO description, and media inserts.

This step is not required for YouTube production. It is useful if you have a website, blog, content network, or a strategy to get traffic not only from YouTube but also from Google Search.

When to use WordPress

Connect WordPress if:

• the channel has a website or blog;
• you want search traffic from Google;
• you need to automatically publish articles for videos;
• you run a content site network across several niches;
• FOXI scripts are good enough to become useful articles;
• you are ready to review articles before mass publishing.

If you do not have a website yet, this step can stay disabled. The YouTube pipeline works without it.

Main switch

Enable this step (WP publishing) defines whether FOXI will send an article to your website.

For first tests, keep publishing disabled until you have checked:

• website connection;
• generated article style;
• factual correctness;
• image display;
• categories and tags;
• publication status: draft or published.

If the site already receives traffic, do not start mass auto-publishing without manually checking the first posts.

Website connection

FOXI connects to WordPress through the official WordPress REST API. Hosting, FTP, or server panel access is not required.

Main fields:

Field	What to enter
Site URL (with https://)	Full site address, for example https://example.com.
Admin login	WordPress user login used to create the post.
WP application password	A special Application Password, not the normal admin password.

Use HTTPS. If the site only works via HTTP or has SSL certificate issues, the connection may be unstable.

Application Password: what it is and where to get it

Application Password is a separate password for external WordPress applications. It is safer than the main admin password: it can be revoked at any time without changing your main website login.

Usually it is created like this:

1. Log in to WordPress admin.
2. Open Users → Profile.
3. Find Application Passwords.
4. Enter a name, for example FOXI Studio.
5. Add the password.
6. Copy the generated password and paste it into FOXI.

Do not use the normal admin password. Do not show the Application Password in screenshots, chats, or documentation.

Check connection

After filling the fields, click Check connection.

If everything is configured correctly, FOXI confirms website access. If the check fails, inspect the error type:

• incorrect URL;
• the site blocks REST API;
• wrong login;
• wrong Application Password;
• firewall, Cloudflare, or Basic Auth blocks the request;
• the user cannot create posts;
• a security plugin blocks external requests.

If the error text is unclear, open the AI Assistant and ask: “explain this WordPress connection error in simple terms and tell me what to check”.

What FOXI creates in the article

FOXI can prepare a full post from the video materials:

• SEO title;
• introduction;
• logical H2/H3 sections;
• lists and highlights;
• adapted text based on the script;
• YouTube video embed if the video is published;
• featured image;
• project images inside the article;
• ALT text for images;
• categories and tags;
• SEO description for plugins if supported by the current integration.

The article should not be a simple copy of the script. Good website text is different from narration: it should be structured, easy to read, and useful for search visitors.

SEO and sensitive topics

For medical, financial, legal, and other sensitive topics, do not publish aggressive claims. Text should be careful, avoid dangerous advice, and avoid statements that cannot be supported.

Good wording examples:

• “may help” instead of “guaranteed to cure”;
• “according to studies” instead of “all doctors proved”;
• “consult a specialist” for medical and financial decisions;
• “for educational purposes” for sensitive niches.

If the channel belongs to YMYL topics, review articles manually before publishing. The AI Assistant can help rewrite risky wording into a more neutral style.

Media: thumbnails, images, and video

WordPress publishing can use materials already created in the project:

• thumbnail as the featured image;
• Step 3 frames as illustrations inside the article;
• YouTube link or embed;
• description/ALT text for images;
• additional materials from project files.

Before mass publishing, check how the website displays images: dimensions, cropping, mobile layout, and loading speed.

Categories and tags

FOXI can assign categories and tags based on the video topic and project settings.

Recommendations:

• do not create too many similar categories;
• use one main category per article;
• tags should be specific, not a random set of keywords;
• for a site network, plan category structure in advance.

If the site is new, first configure categories manually in WordPress, then ask the AI Assistant to suggest tag and category rules.

Publication status

Depending on settings and current implementation, an article may be created as a draft or published immediately. For first launches, a draft or test website is safer.

Check:

• correct title;
• no factual errors;
• images are inserted correctly;
• YouTube video opens;
• the article looks good on mobile;
• there are no secret data or internal technical strings.

Cost and plans

The WordPress step may use AI to rewrite the script into an article, so it may spend FX. Cost depends on script length, model, number of edits, and SEO processing volume.

If the button is unavailable, check your plan. Some publishing functions may be limited by plan. Also check FX balance if the article requires AI rewriting.

Safe first launch

Use this order:

1. Create one finished video and check it.
2. Connect WordPress with URL, login, and Application Password.
3. Click Check connection.
4. Create one test article.
5. Check it in WordPress: text, images, tags, mobile view.
6. If everything is good, enable WordPress for the regular cycle.

Common issues

Error 401 or 403

This is usually an authorization issue: wrong login, wrong Application Password, insufficient user permissions, or the site blocks REST API.

REST API is unavailable

Check security plugins, firewall, Cloudflare, Basic Auth, and permalink settings. Some sites intentionally close REST API.

Images were not uploaded

Check user permissions for media uploads, file sizes, hosting limits, and project file availability.

The article looks like a script, not an article

Ask the AI Assistant to change the WordPress prompt style: add H2/H3 structure, introduction, lists, FAQ, and a more readable format.

Wrong category was published

Check project category settings and existing WordPress categories. It is better to use a clear limited structure than to create dozens of similar categories.

Result

The WordPress step turns one video into an additional text asset. YouTube provides video traffic, while a website can bring search traffic, internal linking, monetization through ads, or leads. Use this step after the main YouTube pipeline works reliably.
