Step 5. Final Builder

Builder is the final editing stage in FOXI Studio. It takes the assets created in previous steps and assembles a ready .mp4 video: script, voice, images, AI video clips, subtitles, music, transitions, avatar, branding overlays, and AI-detect protection.

Unlike manual editing, Builder works in the cloud. You do not need a powerful computer, a local video editor, or constant monitoring. You start rendering from the browser, FOXI queues the server task, places the required FX on hold, renders the video, and saves the final file in project files.

When to run Builder

Builder is usually started after the main materials are ready:

1. Step 1 · Text — script, structure, titles, and metadata.
2. Step 2 · Voice — voiceover track.
3. Step 3 · Frames — images, thumbnails, and visual base.
4. Step 4 · Video — optional AI video clips.

If Step 4 is disabled, Builder can still assemble a video from images: it adds camera movement, transitions, subtitles, and music. For many channels, Builder is the required final stage, while AI video clips are an optional enhancement.

Main switches

At the beginning of the tab you will find launch settings:

• Enable this step — Builder participates in the full cycle.
• This is the final step (delete topic on success) — after successful rendering, the topic is treated as complete and may be removed from the queue.
• Video resolution — output quality.
• Frame rate (FPS) — video smoothness.
• Enable video AI-detect protection — additional processing that makes the visual result less template-like.

If you process topics in a queue, pay attention to the “final step” setting. It defines when FOXI considers the task complete.

Resolution and FPS

Builder supports several quality presets: 1080p (FHD), 1440p (2K), and 2160p (4K).

Recommendations:

Setting	When to choose it
1080p (FHD)	Best starting point for most channels. Faster, cheaper, and enough for YouTube.
1440p (2K)	For visually rich content when you want higher quality.
2160p (4K)	For premium videos when maximum detail matters and the budget allows it.

For the first launch, choose 1080p and 30 FPS. Increase quality only after you have checked the script, voice, frame style, subtitles, and final cost.

Subtitles

Subtitles improve retention, especially when viewers watch without sound or quickly scan the content. Builder can add on-screen text automatically and style it according to the selected preset.

Common settings include:

• enabling or disabling subtitles;
• subtitle style;
• font size;
• bottom offset;
• color and active-word highlight;
• outline or shadow for readability.

For long expert videos, choose a clean and calm style. For Shorts/Reels and dynamic fact videos, larger high-contrast subtitles can work better.

Smart Focus, zoom, and camera movement

If the video is assembled from images, static frames may feel boring. Builder adds smooth camera movement: zoom in, zoom out, or subtle pan.

Smart Focus helps direct movement toward the important part of the frame: face, object, text, composition center, or the most contrast-rich area. This is especially useful for educational, medical, historical, and financial channels where important elements should not accidentally leave the frame.

Practical recommendations:

• do not set zoom too strong on the first test;
• for calm expert videos, use subtle movement;
• for dynamic videos, you can alternate zoom in and zoom out;
• if an image contains text, make sure it remains readable.

Transitions between scenes

Transitions make cuts smoother and more professional. Builder can use fade, dissolve, slide, zoom transition, and other options depending on project settings.

For beginners, it is better to start with a simple fade or light dissolve. Too many different transitions can look cheap and distract from the content.

Background music

Music sets the mood but should not compete with the narrator. In Builder, you can enable background music, choose selection mode, and set volume.

Volume recommendations:

• 5–8% — calm documentary and expert videos;
• 8–12% — dynamic facts, stories, entertainment format;
• above 12% should be used carefully so music does not fight the voice.

If the voice is hard to hear, first reduce the music instead of boosting the voice track into distortion.

Video avatar

Builder can add a video avatar: a host, character, or talking figure in the frame. This is useful when the channel is built around a recognizable expert or persona.

Important settings:

• Use video avatar — enables the avatar layer.
• Fast background removal — helps remove a solid background.
• ChromaKey color — the background color to remove.
• ChromaKey strength — how aggressively the background is removed.
• Avatar video — uploaded character file.
• Avatar replacement background — background that can be placed behind the character.

If you do not use a host, disable the avatar. An unnecessary character can distract viewers, especially in documentary or calm niches.

Overlays and branding

Overlays help make the video recognizable: top banner, bottom bar, speaker name, equalizer, and brand colors.

Use this block if the channel already has a visual system. If the channel is new, start with minimal design: readable subtitles, clean transitions, and stable frame style matter more than complex overlays.

Video Anti-Detect

Enable video AI-detect protection adds extra processing to the final image. It helps the video look less synthetic and more natural.

Anti-Detect does not fix a bad script, poor voiceover, or incorrect images. It is a final processing layer that works best after the base style is already configured.

Cost and FX

Builder cost depends on video duration, resolution, number of effects, avatar usage, Anti-Detect, and processing complexity. Higher resolution and more layers mean longer and more expensive rendering.

How to save FX:

• do the first test in 1080p;
• do not enable 4K before checking the whole pipeline;
• use moderate zoom and simple transitions;
• do not add avatar and complex overlays unless needed;
• check cost history in Tokens and costs.

For many regular videos, the whole production cycle may fit around $1–2, but a complex Builder setup with 4K, avatar, many clips, and extra processing will cost more.

Where to view the finished video

After Builder finishes, the result appears in Dashboard and in Project Files. Open the file, check audio, subtitles, cuts, image quality, and download the video in time.

Important storage rule: project materials may be stored on the server for a limited time. Download final videos and important assets after checking them.

Common issues

Subtitles cover an important part of the frame

Reduce font size or change the bottom offset. If frames often contain text, use a calmer subtitle style.

Music is louder than the narrator

Reduce background music volume. For most expert videos, 5–8% is enough.

Rendering is too expensive

Switch to 1080p, disable unnecessary layers, check video duration, and do not use 4K for tests.

Avatar background removal looks bad

Check ChromaKey color and removal strength. If the background is not solid, prepare a new avatar file.

The final file did not appear

Check the execution log and project files. If there was an error, open the AI Assistant and ask it to explain the log in simple terms.

Safe settings for the first launch

For the first video, use these values:

• Builder enabled;
• final step enabled;
• 1080p resolution;
• 30 FPS;
• subtitles enabled;
• light or medium zoom;
• simple transitions;
• music at 5–8%;
• avatar and complex overlays only if the channel truly needs them.

After checking the result, gradually enhance the style: add avatar, branding, more advanced transitions, or 2K/4K.
